The 2020 winners

On Thursday 10 December, with an online award ceremony, the winners of the 21st edition of Spirito di Vino, the international competition organized annually by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Wine Tourism Movement, which celebrates the most biting and original satirical cartoons on wine theme.
Connected from their homes or offices, the president of the jury Alfio Krancic, the philosopher Aldo Colonetti, the actor Francesco Salvi and Elda Felluga, president of the Movimento Turismo del Vino FVG, revealed which were the works judged the most deserving by the jury of experts. In this particular 2020, several satirical illustrations on Covid-19 could not be missing and one of these impressed the whole jury for its great expressive power: the Italian Tommaso Gianno with "Salute!" won first prize in the over 35 category, followed by the German Sergiu Nicola with "Gioia di vino" (second place) and the Ukrainian Valery Doroshenko with "Cheers!" (third place).
In the under 35 section, on the other hand, the Portuguese Bruno Albuquerque triumphed with "O futuro do vinho", followed by the Italian Diego Paparelle with "Kundavini" (second place) and the Uzbek Muzaffar Yulchiboev with "Bacchus vs Corona" (third place ).

All winners will receive a selection of the best labels of the wineries associated with the Friuli Venezia Giulia Wine Tourism Movement.
