The 2019 winners

Saturday 7 December the jury president Alfio Krancic, the famous cartoonist Valerio Marini, the journalist for Arbiter and art critic Alberto Gerosa - delegate for the magazine Spirito DiVino, the mayor of Cividale del Friuli, Stefano Balloch, the president of the Tourism Movement del Vino FVG, Elda Felluga together with the vice president of the association, Massimo Bassani, have announced the winners of the 20th edition of Spirito di Vino, the international competition, announced annually by the Wine Tourism Movement of Friuli Venezia Giulia, which celebrates the most biting and original satirical cartoons on the theme of wine.
The winners of the 2019 edition, awarded with a selection of the best labels from the associated wineries, for the under 35 section were the Italian Diego Paparelle with "Barman" (first classified), the Serbian Filip Najdanović "First Aid" (second place) and the Portuguese Bruno Albuquerque with "The genius of the bottle" (third classified).
The over 35 section has seen the triumph of the Spanish Manuel Arriaga with "The influence of wine" (first place), the Czech Evžen David with "Moon" (second place) while in third place we find the Polish Czesław Przęzak equal with "Double refueling" and the Czech Roman Kubec with "Vino".

Until January 6th 2020 (from Monday to Friday from 10.00 to 13.00 and from 14.00 to 17.00, Saturday and Sunday all day from 10.00 to 17.00) in the hall on the ground floor of the building that houses the Auxilia Foundation and the International Center Podrecca, via Monastero Maggiore 38 in Cividale del Friuli will host the 20th edition of the Spirit of Wine exhibition where you can appreciate the pungent humor and biting satire capable of giving you smiles and moments of reflection.
In addition, an exhibition was set up in fifteen commercial establishments, members of Confcommercio, thanks to which you can relive 20 years of competition history. In the windows of the participating shops, for the entire period of the exhibition, some works from the past editions will be exhibited, so a walk in the center of Cividale will be embellished with irony and smiles!
