The 2022 winners

On Saturday 3 December, the well-known cartoonist Valerio Marini and the president of the Movimento Turismo del Vino FVG, Elda Felluga (members of the jury) together with Fabrizio Oreti, Councilor for culture and cultural events of Gorizia, Diego Bernardis, president of the V Culture Commission, and Alberta Gervasio, president of CiviBank announced the winners of the 23rd edition of Spirito di Vino, the international competition, organized annually by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Wine Tourism Movement, which celebrates the most biting and original satirical cartoons on the theme of wine.

The winners of the 2022 edition, awarded with a selection of the best labels of the associated wineries, were for the under 35 section the Mexican Pamela Córdova with "Wine Moon" (first place), the Italian Andrea Vallini with "Meglio berci su" (second place) and the Spanish Larissa Érri Lourenço Fernandes with “Scacco matto” (third place).
The over 35 section saw an all-Italian podium: Giacomo Cardelli with "Gradi alcolici" (first place), followed by Marco De Angelis with "Happy uniforms" (second place) and Marco Fusi with "Vino portatore di gioia e di pace" and Gianfranco Uber with "Il dono imbarazzante".

Until 5 January 2023 (every day from 10.00 am to 8.00 pm) you can visit the exhibition in the Grand Hotel Entourage in Gorizia: the cartoons and satirical illustrations on display will surely give you smiles and unpublished food for thought on current issues, and not only, revised with a biting satirical perspective.

The jury of the competition has selected the finalists of the 23rd edition of Spirito di Vino! The awards ceremony will take place on Saturday 3 December at 5.30 pm in Gradn Hotel Entourage, Piazza Sant'Antonio 2, in Gorizia.

Contest 2023

Spirito di Vino is in its 24th edition! Thursday 1 June is the date chosen for the official opening of the "Spirito di Vino" International Illustrators Competition which is held annually by the Wine Tourism Movement of Friuli Venezia Giulia, which brings together the most beautiful and amusing satirical cartoons on the theme of wine made from cartoonists around the world.
The choice to entrust a message about wine to the pungent expression of satire is what has always distinguished this competition. An original and captivating challenge launched every year all over the world, in which the theme of wine turns out to be a cultural element capable of being an infinite inspiration for new creations.
Participants can send their works from June 1st to October 20th 2023!

On Saturday 11 December, the well-known cartoonist Valerio Marini and the president of the Movimento Turismo del Vino FVG, Elda Felluga (members of the jury) together with the mayor of Cividale del Friuli, Daniela Bernardi and the Vice-president of CiviBank Guglielmo Pelizzo announced the winners of the 22nd edition of Spirito di Vino, the international competition, organized annually by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Wine Tourism Movement, which celebrates the most biting and original satirical cartoons on the theme of wine.

The winners of the 2021 edition, awarded with a selection of the best labels of the associated wineries, were for the under 35 section the Italian Stefano Dorigo with "RED Pass" (first place), the Italian Malika Romanova with "Inspiration diVina" ( second place) and the Russian Anya Kuzai with “Divine Moment” (third place).
The over 35 section saw the victory of the Spanish Manuel Arriaga with "Grande Riserva" (first place), followed by the Italian Franco Iacumin with "We are thirsty" (second place) and the Polish Sławomir Makal with "A glass of wine and something else ".

Until 9 January 2022 (Saturdays, Sundays and holidays - excluding 25/12 and the morning of 01/01 - from 10.00 to 13.00 and from 14.30 to 17.30) you can visit the exhibition in the Church of Santa Maria dei Battuti: the cartoons and satirical illustrations on display will surely give you smiles and unpublished food for thought on current issues, and not only, revised with a biting satirical perspective.
